About the project
In the last weeks of 2022, the practicum Mining Library Treasures took place at the KNIR. Students from all over the Netherlands travelled to Rome, just like our ancestors used to do on their Grand Tours through Europe. Rome, the city that has been a center of cultural exchange for several centuries, is the place to be. Whether you are an archeological student or specialized in the English language, the KNIR makes sure that there is a place for everyone and welcomes them with open arms. As long as you are eager to learn new things, study, debate and help each other whenever necessary.
In this practicum our team has highlighted our personal picks from the KNIR library. Every book is accompanied by its own essay providing bibliographical information and extensive research concerning (book) history.
